Installing A Float System Ato

has anyone every used and installed this type of ato, is the same idea as your toilet with the float valve.. I want to use it on the pony tank.. I tried to you tube it and found nothing...thanks...

Are you refering to a gravity fed auto top off? That uses a float valve only. That is what I run in my tank. I use this, only I do not have it hooked directly up to my RO/DI. Making small amounts of water with the RO/DI can be hard on membranes. I have mine coming from a container above my sump.

yes that is the same kind but after seeing your drawing I don't think it will work for what I want..I don't have the room for a container be hide the tank, shit....

The container just has to be above the sump water level or above the float valve.

the pony tank is an all in one and the sump is quite small and my apartment is very warm with tons of water evaporation..in a perfect world there is tons of room under the cabinet for a 5g pail so I guess that I will have to go with an ato with a pump...
