2 Tone Spiraling Monti Cap

I have not changed anything, not even my lighting schedule. I have been stupid busy with life the last few days and honestly have not been watching that much. Actually, the only new thing is that I started lanthanum, but that was last night and the first dose didnt happen until after I saw this. It is still there as well. Does not look like it has spread any further. Come'on for a third color lol.

They should all spiral IIRC. But they normally just plate and encrust from what I see. This one is spiraling nicely and upwards instead of down.

It grew into a patch of purple death paly's. I am tempted at putting a gobstopper in the way of it growing and see what happens when it grows over the gobstopper, or maybe a sunny D?

I have no idea what caused it. But when, or should I say IF i frag it and experiment, I will be placing it near the current colony so that there are no other variables. Maybe try it this weekend if I get 5 minutes to myself.
