Remember those little orange Nudibranch's that a bunch of us got about a month ago? Well I finally saw one in my 29 gal. Biocube yesterday. I had assumed that they just didn't make it as I put 3 in my 46 gal. and 2 in the 29 gal. and haven't seen them since the first day. It did look to be a bit larger at around 1/4" or so. I just saw this bright orange spot on the rock and when I checked it out sure enough it was the slug. I took a pic but it's really bad and blurry and looks just like an little orange stick on the rock. LOL

Have any of you seen the Nudibranch's since you put them in? I'm not sure that I'll ever see them again in the 46 gal. if they're still alive as there's so much rock in it. I was thinking of taking a bit of the rock out but now I don't think I want to in case there are nudis inside. ;)

I put six in my 46 gallon... some where for shooter. I've never seen them again. I look all the time... the only thing I've never done is look at night with a flash light... I'm bummed:(

I haven't seen any of mine since day 2. I finally had to vacuum out the algae yesterday because it was getting out of hand so, if they are still there, I hope I haven't vacuumed them out. :(

I was worried about them getting stuck in filter media or just not making it. I checked my filter media fairly thoroughly when cleaning. To be honest they are so small and there are many holes and caverns in the rocks they could be hiding in. The one I saw was out late in the day cycle but the lights were still on. So I'm hoping that the others are still alive just very secretive. I'll share my TERRIBLE picture but it doesn't really prove that's what it is due to the bad picture quality. LOL

Nice orange stick eh? I really need to work on getting a better camera. Or at least a phone with manual focus. ;) If I happen to see any of them out again I'll try to get better pics. But the orange is very bright so if one of them is out and about it should draw your attention to it.

like the elusive Bigfoot, all pictures are blurry

LMAO .... but this is the Orange Nano version of that story. And just like the bigfoot version very few have seen this elusive creature. But the few that have all tell some strange story followed by barely visible pictures. ;)

Put 6 in my 100 gal and have not seen one, think they may have ended up in my filter sock. Would be nice to see at least one of them but then again I have 2 Harlequin's and seen both together yesterday since I got them, a couple of months ago. I would see one once in while and thought the other died, so good to see them both.

Well I just saw a little Orange Nano Onefoot again today. And thanks to @kapelan (suggested the Magnifier - Magnifying Glass app for my phone) I was able to get a slightly better pic. It's still a bit blurry as it's extremely zoomed in but you can at least make out the outline.

I got a quick video as well but it's a bit grainy. Very reminiscent of the old Bigfoot vids so I guess it suits the situation. LOLOL

I hope I see more at some point!

BTW - The video doesn't seem to play for me in Chrome. I think it may be the ad-blocker. Seems to work fine in Firefox though.

A forum member had some for sale a while back. I got 5 and put 3 in my 46 gal. and 2 in my 29 gal. I've only ever seen one in the 29 gal. twice and couldn't tell you if it's the same one or not. LOL The one(s) I've seen are about twice the size from when I got them so I guess that's a good sign. :D

I don't recall seeing them listed for sale but, I have been so ridiculously busy lately that I probably just missed it :(

I got these at the end of June. Here is the ad I bought from ...

And there was a second ad a few weeks later ...

Here is the original thread discussing them if you're interested ...

Thanks Dave!
I just read them all including a link that was within the link you sent.
Looks like there is even one called a Placida that eats Bryopsis.
Bet a few people would love some of those!
Lol
