So everything was fine last night this three head zoa was looking great. Get home from work and it's completely gone off the plug not a sign of any of it

What kind was it and what fish / CUC do you have in there?
Palys and zoas do occasionally "melt away"
But I think if they were open and looking good just last night and completely gone today, good chance somebody had a snack.

The additional info I asked for will help other members hopefully help you figure this out.
For me, it was only my 2 frags of Purple Death and my hippo tang ate them.

Yeah that happens to my x man Pallys lol .. And utters did that too not melt but flew off i actualy found the utters and tried to re glue it and got glue on the head and died lol...

I'll have a look for them... I've got snails of different sorts blue legged hermits and a peppermint shrimp... could be it came off cause there is nothing on the plug

Oh yeah good point @Luke. ! Occasionally the glue just lets go and then a few months later they pop up growing out of a crevice or hole in the rocks.
