you got it, that's why I use an acclimation box....tangs can be jerks, maybe that's why I love them...
That's an awesome idea... psychology for fish. Calling Dr. TorxI have had great luck in adding fish that should not be added. I have 1 hippo, 1 scopa, 1 yellow, 1 powder blue, 2 foxface, all of which were added one at a time. The hippo was the last. I use a black out to acclimate fish to their new mates. Basically I go lights out, then I wrap the tank in black garbage bags and add the new fish then. I peak in with a flash light sometimes, but for the most part I just hope. Corals are fine for a few days with no light. After day 2, I peal back just a corner, and over the coarse of the day I peal off the rest. I match that with heavy feedings and a steady supply of seaweed clipped. SO far that has worked for me, but it does not always work.
