Salt Turing Water Green?

Making fresh water for a change tomorrow.. brand new bucket... Bran new water and added vibrant marine salt... Walked away for 20 minutes to remix and let settle overnight and its yellow??
Any idea what's going on?

Oh, didn’t read that right.

Have you used it before? If so, and it didn’t do it then I’d follow up with the store.
Used this brand since I started this hobby in late November.. still the same 220 gal box I've had..

Personally, I don’t know if I would use it if this is the first batch that it has happened with.

Are you able to mix another batch right now and see if it happens again. Use process of elimination and use a different bucket with the same pump and heater.

Or even try manual mixing to eliminate the pump.

I have instances where I did something an looked back and thought “I knew that was not a good plan” and I am still recovering from one of those.

Hate to say it , but either it’s always that salt (poor salt brand / not as high quality ingredients) I used omega Sea back in the day and I found it made it a bit odd coloured like your pic , switch to af reef salt (if you get the pale it has a bar code) they do tests on each bucket they sell and you can look at your batch to make sure it’s good .

Personally I would be contacting them if this is the first time you’ve seen this , definitely something up ,
