1 Return, 2 Returns .... Does It Matter?

I was planning on doing 1 return from my sump to my tank, along with the BA drains.

I am going under the assumption that with powder heads, etc in the tank there will be plenty of turnover and circulation.

Is there a real need to have a return at each end of the tank?

Can I put my BA drains at one end of the overflow and then set my return line at the other end of the tank?

(I don't really want to do 1 return lines if I don't have to)

the only time you need more than one return is either you have one freakin big tank or you dont want to see powerheads but pulp answered your question perfectly lol
