You may also want to rethink the ato volume. If the ato malfunctions, all that water could be pumped into your tank. Drastically lowering salinity and flooding.

Been there done that lol.
Same here, luckily I was there as it happened. My ato is 5 gallons. Lasts 4-5 days and IF if faults, it is only 5 gallons into 150 gallon twv. Won't affect salinity much and my sump can hold it, skimmer may over flow, but that is it

Yeah i only have a 2 or 3 g half moon tank i use for my ato for my 75g, lasts prolly same amount of time.

Ahh ic. I will use the barrel to store Rodi and have a 5 gallon tank for top off.

Aaaand it would appear a small siphon was created leaving an inch from overflow...I thought I raised it up high enough. ....rookie mistake

Temps no biggie, but if u have coral that salinity drop can screw with things. Slowly bring it back up.
