135 Gallon Verhoog Tank

Just bought a setup tank and just got it set up move went we'll looks like everything survived other than one corral that looks unhappy thanks mark and family the tank looks great still got a bit of aqua aqaping to do and to setup drains and sump today

The tank looks sweet in that location, It doesn't look like a 135, what are the dimensions. What type of lights are you using.

tank is 72 x 18 x 24 tall and I have al sol led lights with controller I am working on getting the cabinets put back together had a 90 gallon fw tank in there before, got the sump an protein skimmer going and all the levels are were they were suppose to be just getting the to get up a bit it was at 7.8

went in today for lunch and saw that there was some brown stuff on the bottom of the tank It is just sitting there not stuck to the crushed corral. I tested water last night and the no2 was up a bit to the second level I think 5 ppm so I did a 30 gallon water change and now this brown stuff am wondering if this is just normal from just moving the tank or something I need to look in to more I have another 30 gallons getting ready to do another water change again if need be all other test looked goo. and I will be testing again tonight and the brown stuff is only in the front of the tank on the bottom no were else that I can see thanks

Finally got the cabinets finished the corrals have really come to life in the last few days aswell

Yeah thanks I custom built it three years ago for my old four foot tank but then just modified it to fit the me six foot tank

Verhoog 135 gallon reef tank

So got fed up with sump in tiny cabinet decided to go with basment sump so here are some pick before and I know have it built with paint looking for suggestions going to have one drain going into refuge and then into sump and the other drain directly into sump sump on shelf on left and sump under that water change station were it is now and quarantine tank on right with all sensors rodi and equipment  on wall behind a eight foot work bench will be come down right side L shaped with a laundry tub on the end of that

Nice!  You're going to love the sump away from the tank.  So much easier to access everything, and now you can fit a much larger sump and increase water volume  >

Yeah only have a 30 gallon sump would love to get something bigger but haven't found anything would like to go with 75 gallon

Just do a 180g sump with a huge refugium built in lol
