It's 20" tall. Sits 3" over the glass to cover the whole waterline and I needed room to hang my lights in the canopy. I also hate not having room to work on the tank in a canopy.

I wish my canopy was taller too for that exact reason.

My lights are 6" off my water line and I can't raise them any higher without potentially compromising my fans.

I hope you are getting adequate ventilation with your ATI fixture being mounted inside your canopy. You need to ensure the hot air is exhausted and not sucked back into the fixture or you will kill your bulbs early

The canopy is not sealed at the back. and there is about 2 feet of space between the tank and the wall. So I am not overly concerned about the circulation. More would obviously be better, but aside from having a new stand and canopy built I am kinda SOL. Matching a custom made canopy to the base would seemingly prove difficult.

Let's get this back on topic tho. It's not my thread and I don't want to hijack this beautiful build thread

quick update, installed canopy, looks pretty good imo just tall lol. nice to have the room to work in it to. also a quick FTS. no fish in the tanks as i somehow got ich, dammit. all fish were moved to qt and suffered no losses, they all look good now but will wait two months before re introducing them. had to totally remove rock however so i rescaped the tank. I like it better now actually ;)

its hard to get this sucker in a full shot that looks good lol
