Thanks heath!
No specific color scheme....just want the whole tank to be used. Also suggestions of one center piece/ show stopper!

Emperor Angelfish or Regal Angelfish, then a harem of Resplendent Anthias and then half dozen Firefish, Purple.
I like the way you think Nonuser! Not sure about the Angels....but def want to do a school of Anthias and some Purple firefish!

i have a school of 4 bartletts and love them. In my future monster tank I think it will be entirely anthias and tang species. Regardless, I am super excited to see where this tank goes. SPS dominant? mixed reef?

In a tank like that, you have some pretty open choices. I have a regal angel, which so far hasn't nipped anything after a week.

As far as triggers, blue throat, pink tail, Nigeria, cross hatch, sargassums etc won't nip corals or eat you cut, and are amazing reef inhabitants.

I have always had a blonde naso, and I have a magnificent foxface which is awesome.

I also have barrier reef chromis, 2 CBB, , a couple wrasse, a Niger, female BT trigger, a starfish... Blah blah.

I also have an Achilles, which is a beast of a fish, and incredible to watch tear around. With Achilles, you need to remember that they come from the surf zone in Hawaii, and the water has huge surge flow, and tons of oxygen. I have 2 gyre 150 and 2 mp40 QD on my tank, and I think it's enough for him.

They are aggressive, and you simply CANNOT ass another fish with a similar body shape, like a powder brown, powder blue, lieutenant, etc or they will end up dead.
