So I have never had a coral host any clowns before. I got my onyx picasso clowns from kraken on Friday. They are not a pair and are still bickering. I picked up the frogspawn on sunday. But it looks like the smaller clown wants to go in the frogspawn. The clown is just hovering around the frogspawn and will go in and just lightly touch abit of his side on the frogspawn.

That's awesome !! I'm currently waiting for my pair of Picassos to find the RBTA or GBTA . You have any pictures of your clowns ? To bad that they list there "pairs" as pairs when they're really not, kinda of a false sale practice.

Here is a rough one. I plan on getting a video up tonight.

Man I love that little marking under his eye, one of my two i originally picked up had that mark but he didn't take well to transition to my tank, thankfully he was replaced.

Love the rock work in the tank also, looks great !

Also is there a type of glue I can pick up at crappy tire to glue this frog spawn down?

Woohoo, the glue question. I get the locktite gel from crappy tire. Only after the bottle seems empty, I open the holder to expose the tube, there is a ton more in there even after the bottle seems empty. Other then that, I just use gel from the dollar store. There is a name you need to look for on the bottle, I am sure someone here will post it shortly.

i use the thick gel super glue from dollarama, no issues here, gotta have at least 200 tubes in my tank by now. theres a few threads around with photos of the exact stuff on here iirc.

Your tank and clowns are sweet man, keep it up.

So I picked up some of this glue from work. It says it contains cyanoacrylate. So it should be ok?

So this is a noob question, but I'm just wondering if this is cyano or diatoms? It's only in the front of my tank and lower parts of the glass.

Ammonia-0
Trites-0
Trates-0
Ph-8.2

Calcium-440
Dkh-9

Just need an ID of it so I can get rid of it.

so now im starting to get a little bit of cyano in some dead spots, for flow I have the return pump which is 265 gph and hydor koralia 425 gph, im basically using the return pump for the water surface, the powerhead is at the back right pointing to the left, does anyone have any ideas for better placement? im thinking or ordering a hydor koralia 240 gph. or will this be to much flow? thanks again.

yes sugar sand, I just don't know how to eliminate the dead spots, pretty much the front of my cube.

So I noticed something wrong with my favia, looks like I have 2 heads/mouths that are dying? But they still put out their feeding fans? Also something growing out of another one?

So about a month ago I purchased 2 onyx picasso clownfish from kraken and the bigger one just won't stop chasing the smaller one. I've seen them locking at the mouth. There isn't any physical damage on the smaller one yet. The bigger one will attack me constantly when I'm working in my tank. I've even seen the bigger one do the twitching to smaller one? The smaller clown also isn't as colourful. I'm not sure what to do. Can they both turn female?

They can both turn out female absolutely, those clowns they are selling as "pairs" are way to young to even be any sex except juveniles. If there's locking mouth then chances are they may both be females, don't get it confused with. the abusive behaviour of he female towards the male though.

So how long do I wait to see if they will pair or not?  I'm getting tired of looking and my tank and just seeing the big one chasing the small one non stop.  Like is there a certain amount of time to where they just will never pair up?
