So how long do I wait to see if they will pair or not?  I'm getting tired of looking and my tank and just seeing the big one chasing the small one non stop.  Like is there a certain amount of time to where they just will never pair up?

Could go on for months to determine who's who . But if it really aggressive and all day then chances are you have 2 females .

Ok so say I have 2 females. If I get rid of one is there a chance if I find a smaller one they will pair? Or am I gonna be stuck with just one clownfish?

That's the best way to do it, buy one then wait a few months then buy a smaller one , you're chances are better then if you buy 2 juvs.

If you do buy a new Clownfish, just make sure it is much smaller than the one you keep. They will still fight for a while but will calm down eventually.

Kraken said they were in a holding tank together before I bought them. Maybe I should wait abit longer? There is no physical damage right now.

Well I can almost guarantee they are not paired, when he sells  them, they are way to small in the pictures he was posting for them to be sold as pairs, maybe a pair of clownfish but not a bonded pair there not mature enough. Can take up to a year for them to become bonded  pairs.

I really appreciate your help. I might wait abit and see. I just think I will have a hard time selling 1 clownfish. And there is a noticeable size difference between the 2

What did you do for those 2 years? Just let them go? Or did you separate them?

They never really bonded, then they started getting aggressive. Unibob has them now, he had that set and a smaller back clown in a trio and there living in harmony now.

Yeah, before I sold them, I kept them together for about 2 weeks in a 6x6 cell. Didnt have any issues but they were young as I mentioned. They are only about 6 ~ 9 months old when I sold them.

This isn't a knock on you flasky. Like I said maybe the bigger one is just to aggressive. It attacks me non stop while working I'm my tank. It will even attack the net.  I just really don't want to lose a fish that a paid big cash for. So I'm reaching out to the community for help and ideas.
