I just got my hands on a  46`` 6 bulb T5 fixture currently with Phillips (silhouette h.o. F54T5 / 841)

Any idea if these bulbs would work for reef keeping or is it worth spending $200 on new bulbs and ditching the 175 MH. for my 5 ft 120 gal.

Any  place I might be able to find a better price then Petsmart (37.99/bulb) for this fixture!! Or where to find the bulbs listed above!!

Shoot your ideas, thanks a lot for your time!!

Do you have a picture of the Phillips fixture? I'm interested in seeing what they look like.

I prefer T5 over halide just because I'm very particular about the spectrum of light in my tank. I've got a few old bulbs you can borrow if you don't want to replace them all at once. 6x$30/bulb = a lot to spend on bulbs all at once hahaha.

If you want to buy locally you can get the ATI bulbs in Sarnia @ Blakes Living Reef for $30/bulb. Plus, he is currently giving all fragtank members 13% off until Dec 23rd.

Oakville Reef Gallery is where I would buy any non-ATI bulbs. They carry almost every T5 Reef bulb manufactured $30/bulb. They have a website where you can have them shipped if you don't want to drive to Oakville. You can also try, bulkreefsupply and J&L aquatics.

The moonlights look OK to me. $20 seems reasonable.

I will get the pictures posted tonight! and We can go from there!!!

Of the bulbs available which would you recommend! and in what combination! (no hard corals in my tank and currently have a 2 bulb T5 with 2 power glows in it!)
Ps I think its only a 4 bulbs fixture! Ill get pictures tonight, its at a buddys place!!

they are better than power glow I used them on 1 of my old tanks.
