That is interesting about the potassium.  I may test just out of curiosity.`3
Cool.  Be interesting to know what the level is in your tank.  However, why are you concerned with it? - I ask that because your colours are excellent.

Just out of curiosity really.  I don't think I would do a thing at the moment, my colours at the moment are quite good.  I use IO, not sure what the potassium in that salt is, so sort of curious given your comments where my level could be. Other than salt, are there other sources of potassium in the tank, I'm guessing some would be introduced through feeding?

Yup, I read somewhere that K will be introduced via fish based fish foods.

By "fish based foods" do you mean like homemade formulas made out of ground up seafood, such as pappone?

Great looking setup btw!!  Welcome to the forum :).

Yup.  You might need to read around on this as I have no idea how significant it is though.  Overall, as long as you are doing regular water changes, there is no real need to test for this or to dose it.  For years SPS keepers have been using salts such as IO or RC and have had no need to test or dose for Potassium.  I only began to test for it due to issues with my SPS which correlated with the main views of Zeovit users.

Thanks for the welcome and the compliment.  :)

I Love that light too, Nice set-up, Love the War Coral, One my favorite pieces, mines about the same size but I notice a bit browning going on there. Might need to be sheltered a bit, Any Thoughts?

Thanks guys.

My War coral was pretty browned out when I got it.  It sits away from direct light, and is looking better over time.

Lets update this thread with some pics and some news. First off, due to being unwell, the tank suffered Alk drops at least 3 times in the past few months. Each time I caught the Alkalinity as low as 4.5dKH! Some pieces browned out as a result. I was also dosing KZ Coral Vitaliser, and maybe I dosed too much of that too, but I cant be sure which caused the issue.

My Red Planet: Was looking a bit nicer. But during the Alk drop incidents, it lost some of the red colour.

Closeup of my Orange Passion Acro. Love this piece; regardless of whats happening with the tank, this one always stays coloured up! Loves my tank.

Really like how this Granulosa is turning out. The larger it gets, the nicer it is looking.

Hope you like the pics. I will update again in a month or two. Kinda very busy starting from the end of this week. I'll be making sure to keep parameters stable and not mess around with the tank. Hoping the remaining corals will look as good as these ones.
