90 should be fine , miracles for anything different, or kijiji.  There is a place in Michigan that has tanks too.  Pete should know.

90g and 75g are the same footprint....48"x18".  You really should go for 24" width if possible...you will not regret that one.  That would bring you into a standard 120g.  That light might be stretching it for a 24" width though.....but I wouldnt do it with out a stripe of blue LED's anyway and the reefbrites mount nicely on the tek fixture.

As for getting a custom tank....personally I think the only time getting a custom tank is worth it is if you have custom dimensions or really want starphire glass and money is not an issue.

Also not a fan of rimless for functionality (looks fine).  The problem being that fish will jump out (ask Dwayne).  Also for me the light is an issue if you plan on sitting in front of the tank.  But that is just personal preference.

Ya I see what your saying darryl, so a 48" 24"24" is a 120gal?

Ya i kinda do like the starphire glass!

Ya i see what your saying if its gonna be in my living room, Blinded!!

My light is a ATi and the Dimensions are: 47.0" x 17.5" x 2.1" (L x W x H) and i got a 48 inch reefbrite royal blue!

So it might be better to go with 24 inch width?

And has anyone seen how to mount a reefbrite onto a ati fixture?

thanks guys

Yu get what you paid for mine is 36x24x18 half inch glass starphire front polished edges  with a external 24 inch long coast to coast overflow 3 holes in the bottom of the overflow.  2 holes in each top corner on back pane.  With the back pane black and a black acrylic slide in with teeth.  That peice is to hide the piping in the overflow

Now that you have it and it's operational, is there anything you would have done differently or are you 100% satisfied with your custom choices?

Did you use that ATI fixture with your other tank or is it new?
I think that with that particular fixture, it would be best to have a 24 inch width tank and attach the led strips to the fixture. You can see some pics where people just mount the leds strips on either side with a brackets.  I have seen some canopies that are built around the fixure with an open top, so the fans aren't blocked. This might be an option.
With that 48" fixture, you can also get a 60" long tank. If your thinking custom and have the space, I would consider 24w x 60l x 24h

i agree.  my TEK 6 bulb 48" fixture lit my 60x18 120 gallon tank no problem.  I think it would have still been great on a 60x24 footprint as well.
