ive been into my tank lately, reaquascaping, water changes, lighting, calcium reactor and on and on.

I have been busy helping lighten the load of the coral tank down at the Coral Reef Shop in Burlington.

Picked up another rainbow acan frag with 3 eyes for $60. Got a blood shrimp today, 4 more (the last 4) Great Barrier Reef chromis, and then I looked into one of the tanks that looked a little bit weird.....

The was a yellow tang, and another fish hiding in the corner. It was a HUGE Aussie copperband.

I think it was being harassed, or stressed out.

I ended up buying it. I thought my CBB was pretty big, but he is just a tiny baby compared to this guy lol. Happily, he is already eating mysis, and telling my Achilles who is boss.

are you saying that you bought both the tang and copperband... why in hell would a store put them together in a tank...you will love your blood shrimp, I have one and it is beautiful, the only thing with mine is that it moulted a couple of weeks ago and it freaked me out thinking that it died,

Is there a Yellow tang that isn't?

Some stores just house incompatible fish together. They have not enough space and tend to value the livestock welfare low. It's all about getting stock in and getting it out. good for you. I personally don't like to buy stressed out fish, If you want ick that's the best way to get ick

He got is an insane astralian lps shipment. Everything is like a rainbow in there.

The prices are really good for what they are. For example. I bought my black torch for $150. It has 3 heads. He has rainbow torches there, which are UNBELIEVABLE, and I believe they are about $50 -60 per head. It's not run of the mill stuff. It's really spectacular. Tell red you know me lol

Every time I go to the Coral Reef Shop I can't help but think how convenient it would be to own one of the apartments upstairs... lol, I'd demand a glass panel be put in the floor like you see in those resort huts over the water in Bali.

...I always leave with something special... And something sweet, lol (retro candy shop next door)
