Read and read some more before attempting Vodka dosing, It's not rocket science but a different perspective, Sorry for the heart aches kid, I know how hard you try.

Did some.tests yesterday. N03 10 ppm and p04 0.17, the p04 is really.odd since i just changed out my gfo and it was 0.00 1 day after changing it. Im going to retest today and freshen my gfo if so..im using ReefSupplies.ca Bulk GFO, so maybe its just crappy gfo.

maybe as your algae is dying off from the lights out your readings are starting to be more in line with whats actually in there

As far as I'm concerned temporary lights out is a waste of time, First you've got to find the cause and remedy that, then manually remove it, over and over again until it's gone, Your Corals suffer more than anything else.
