soooo I did it, last night I brought home my new set up. Well most of it Atleast there are still a few missing items that I need to add but I've got a start and what I feel was a decent price So what I have is a 60 gallon starfire cube drilled with sump and a fuge. 2 heaters with a controller 150w mh ehiem return pump that is to small but hooked to a sea swirl return. And hydor slim skimmer and skinned over metal stand. Lots and lots of live rock and sand. I've purchased thanks to the classifieds here a brs dual chamber reactor and tunze ATO I need now moon lighting or prob a whole different fixture. Wave makers of some sort. Bigger return pump. I'd like a controller but I have not really ever read much on them because I don't have a spare 1k for an apex. Then your usual equipment like refractometer test kits and all that jazz. Here are some starter pics befor I get to cleaning. Omgosh I don't even know where to begin cleaning.

Take your refuge and toss in an air stone to keep water fresh. Also put a mark on tank, maybe paint, or tape or perm marker. To the spot where the water sits right now, maintain that water level with daily top ups of just water. Keep either a small light on it, or out in the sunlight. Would also toss in a rock or two that you have. Keeps the stuff living.

That sump is useless as is so now I need to decide on a diff one or just new baffles and placement.
My rock work is so open inside I want only one open water swimmer and as many small little fish as I can. Lol.
Any suggestions?
