dont worry about one reef becoming a base think of how much coral and seahorses are overharvested for the damn chinese medicine that doesnt even work or for jewelery or narcotic purposes.... at least us hobbyists are conservationists afyer all they predict in 15 years 99% of the worlds reefs will be dead from poor water quality as its already a big issue especially in australia where the great barrier is 1/3rd the size it was 10 years ago. we may be the only chance for our grandkids to become reefers one day
