I really thought I was a moron for considering an urchin after the headaches I had with the turbo snails (also bought a baby turbo..so far no problems!), but so far this thing is a hoot.  Took almost 3 hours to float/drip acclimate him, but it is cool as hell.  Covered homeslf up immediately, then took a day or so of hiding, now is moving all over, doesn't seem to want to knock anything over.

Wondering if there is anything I should watch for, like munching on zoas or anything? Hoping he survives and works out, pretty cool little addition to the tank.

tuxedo.  They do eat coralline, but I can't imagine that slow moving thing making much of a dent in the amount I have.

I do have hopes it takes a liking to that hard velvet algae. Not much can put a dent in it except high lighting, and shady areas don't see too much of that.

Will do, if it's in a good position to photograph :)

Had to hunt everywhere... he had noodled in back again, between the rock and the glass.

2 photos, 1 right after the drip and introduction when I got him, one today.

I don't think these things have any real strength to move anything, unlike the turbos which are just thugs and muscleheads.  So far, so good as long as he survives the next two weeks he should be good.
