Hey guys just wanted to see if any one was running Aqua Illumination SOL  and how they like them my dad just put his order in just wating on one more unit cant wait to get them up looking to get the same for my 90 ;D

Everything Ive read and seen has been pretty good as far as LED goes....price has been dropped in expectation for a newer model.

I love mine!!
We only have 3 units over a 135g tank. I will like to get another in the future, as my sides are a bit darker. Right now I just have some lower light corals and mushrooms on the sides )
Like all LED's very low power consumption, very little heat.  Mine do not go over 50% I don't think the cooling fans have ever turnned on.

ya but still price to do a 6 foot tank is retarded over 300 for  12" unit f that plus what do u get 12 leds per fixture...i agree there good but for small tanks until that price comes down and they pack in some better colour options im staying away and will just continue diy until above things are better

I agree price too high, and I would like to see a red led in the cluster
I do like the simplicity of the setup and the control I have over the LEDs supplied
And the ability to have 14 different timers.  The moon cycle is very cool too, I like the moon option to recreat nature as much as possible, as some (if not most) of our live stock came out of the ocean a few days befor entering our tanks

All I have read has been great reviews on LEDs dad has mh unit sold as soon as the other led unit shows up and we are ready to rock  less heat leads watts used

They are 24 x cree LEDs....and the fact is the are very competively priced and a good value when compared to other LED fixtures.....

$399.99 for the unit and $79 for controler pricing out at a couple places right now wh have to see if they price match if not better
