Ati mounting legs

I'm looking to make some legs for my light that I picked up today thanks to IA
I'm going to make a bracket with PVC for now till i get  my hieght where I want I have a mh now 4" above water looking to make the ati 10" above water don't want to burn coral out

You might be ble to get JT to make some fancy legs. Out of acrylic.

Why not order the hanging kit ? You can move it up and down all you want lol it's great for when you need to get in the tank, pull up one side, when your finished push in a clip hold the light slide it back into place.

If done right it looks real slick. Only a couple small holes in ceiling that are easy to patch up if it ever needs to be moved. I have an ati fixture and wouldn't ever want legs on it. Hanging kit is a real clean look. plus, how stable is a leg kit 10 inches off the water gonna be??? ;D

Here is a pic from one of the guys over at Royal Aquarium, they bent some 3/4 emt conduit and made a sweet looking DIY hanging kit..

When I was planning my hanging kit, I originally used 3/4 pvc, and found it wasn't strong enough, I had to reinforce it, which made things too complicated. I ended up going with a DIY canopy and hung my fixture inside with an open top. I like it a lot 8)

Looking at your canopy also makes that look amazing as well. I do notice that the fixture is hanging on one side of your "legs". Is there something preventing it from flipping? Or are you some kinda Jedi?
