Hey Hey, I'm looking for input on a new auto feeder for my tank,, I travel a lot and the last auto feeder I bought basically would dump all the food in with in 3 days.... Typical $30 feeder from petsmart..... So what are people running? what works? Maybe some neat features??

Thanks for the feed back,

We use Eheim auto feeders in all our clients tanks. In the 9 years I've been doing servicing, I've only seen maybe two or three that dumped food. Very reliable IMO. Also there is a built in fan on the auto feeder which blows air through the hopper preventing moisture from building up and clogging.

IMO they're the best one, unless you run an Apex. Then you can get the controllable one for your Apex

That's what I use.... I think it was $59.99 and works great.

+1 have used the Eheim autofeeders for years. Reliable, mine are always in use to drop small amounts of food many times a day for my grazers (tangs etc.). Sent them swimming many times...just take out the batteries stick them in a baggie with rice and a day later they are good to go.....
