Happy Friday all,

So my tank has been going for a solid couple months now and i've noticed some aiptasia pop up every now and then. I've got a couple using vinegar but they have come back a couple weeks later. I don't have any livestock in the tank as of yet other than some critters that came in on the live rock including a snail, of which i dont know the species, a brittle star and some inverts. Would it be ok to add a fish to take care of the aiptasia, i count 3 right now. If so, what kind should i be looking at and where around Sarnia area would be the best place to go?

Here is the tank so far. I have some more rock that i'm cooking right now that will go in shortly.

you could try a copperband (I believe) the only issue is that after they has been cleaned up the fish could die from starvation..it would be nice if there was a place that you RENT one..lol. ;);)..nice rock and mushrooms...

Peppermint shrump help sometimes. Otherwise filefish too. Also depends on your tank and what else you want to keep as I think copper bands need a larger tank...

I have a small aptasia problem at the the moment and I keep it under control with vinager for the larger ones and I have a large peppermint who seems to be attacking the smaller ones steadily...

My copperband does not eat aptasia but I think that I have given him the good life and treat him like a baby, so IMO these fish are hit and miss

I'd get some Peppermints but I'd also look into Bergia Nudibranch, Nice looking scape by the way, You must be excited, Looks like the beginning of a Great Reef tank. Lots of space for Coral, Good Luck
