Just wondering if anyone has used or knows someone who has used the Black Max RO Membranes.

I have always used DOW and these look to similar so I thought I would give them a try. The price was good to 29.30 . The only other ones I have tried are the SpectraPure 98% and they are the worst pieces of crap, after running them for a week they ended up in the trash, that was 100.00 bucks into the trash can. PPM would not go below 10 and when I first put them in they started at 15 ppm and dropped to 12 pmm after 2 hrs of rising. I will never buy their membranes again.

Well I ran and rinsed them for just over 2 hrs. and the best I could get is a 96% with 358 in and 14 out. I guess I will have to order the DOWS, they when new would give 1 to 3 ppm at 99% at the 6 to 8 month mark I was getting 6 to 8 ppm at 98% and as of now 9 to 10 ppm at 97% so my old used DOWS are still more effective than the new Black Maxx and the SpectraPure Normal 90's. Maybe I will keep them and stop running DI as Anything above 98% you just start blowing your way through the DI resin.
