I soaked them for a while. No issues.

Dollar store shells seem to float on me even after soaking for weeks. Linda at sealife has a basket, she let me grab like 10 when i was there one day...bout a month ago.

They,ve probably found an optimum part of the tank, maybe less flow or more light or what ever makes them happy.I myself would never have this happen. I prefer Snails and more snails
