The sps tank at coral reef shop is getting filled tonight. The lps tank is pretty full, but a lot of colonies and frags were sold last week. The zoo etc tank is being reloaded soon.

They have a bunch of those heaters on the left shelf as you are walking out the back door.

Mike... Shoot me a PM what you know of being there.. that other post sounded like nothing was left. I am still looking for larger pieces. Could be willing to make the trip tomorrow or Wednesday. Have something new in there for Christmas as I am having family over.

There's some pretty nice sps down there now, but not a lot. A stunning efflo, and some cool stags.

I'll let you know when he loads up again. Apparently he's going to bringing in a lot.

IF your looking for SPS I have another Aussie shipment coming in with some of the best SPS on the planet. UCA Cherrry blossom, UCA Baddabing, SSC colonies and over 100 other wild SPS. These are not the indo SPS that turn brown in a month and take another 6 months to colour back up. Only 10 min away from CRS, 2 min off the QEW. Don't miss out, cause like the last Aussie shipment, they wont last long :)

Because I am working over the holiday shipment will arrive sometime first week in January. I will also be running my boxing day discounts at that time :)

I tried the one and they told me yes they'll match any price then I said its big als and they said they can't because there isent one in Windsor but you could try the one on walker there more lenient and they did it last year it's on sale there right now for 59$ a pail also

I must say this time last year the forums here and other sites were full of sales and flyers for boxing day, this year it's much quieter imo. I haven't seen anything for Canada corals yet or aquatic Kingdom - I spent 1500 with them both last year on boxing day ( I was setting up a new tank)...now while I may not be spending that kind of cash this year I'm sure I would be in the high hundreds if I filled out my wish list.

Good thing I've now got 6 buckets of salt already from local petsmarts....otherwise I would be scrambling more

Wondering if the drop in the Canadian dollar is screwing with the big deals we saw last year..

yes so far this years sales are pretty disappointing. I would really like to find one or two places that I could go and fulfill all my hobby needs. Long gone are the personal relationships you can build with a LFS . Unfortunately loyalty is something that is not held very high.

Just saw Canada corals boxing day email. The 50% of livestock is a good deal, but 54 bucks for salt isn't a show stopper.

Glad I got my salt ahead of time. Now waiting to see what the other Mississauga shops out out

The main issue is the Canadian dollar this year. It's currently sitting @ $1.40. This time last year it was $1.15

Our dollar roughly buys us 25% less than it did last year.

We could have matched Big Als with their mail-in rebate on 160G buckets of Reef Crystals but too many people complain about the rebate so we decided to offer something different.

Wasn't complaining too loud :) Comparing to big als price, if you look at it per gallon the price isn't that much different and as you said no rebates. I did quick match and big als price with rebate is 25 cents per gallon of salt water and Canada corals is 27 cents per gallon and no need for a rebate. When you look at it like that it's worth it especially if your going to the store to pick up livestock

See you there in the morning...store opens at 10?

Sadly, too many people don't understand how hard the dollar can hit a business. Brutal! Wrong year for me to be getting in the hobby, that's for sure.

That's up to, and on select pieces.

I'm more than happy with their $65 bucks for Red Sea Coral pro. I won't be able to make it out there most likely. :(
