I got tore a new ass on snails, got let through eventually but would never do it again , just not worth it. I wouldnt bring anything back other then dry goods.

The ass chewing by border guards is dependant on which guard you get and how bad he/she hates his life that day...
I live right on the border and absolutely detest crossing. Got sent in to secondary on the US side on our way to a country concert for over an hour.. Missed half the concert and the one guard was circling like a shark eye balling us and at one point tried to instigate a confrontation with us.
On the other hand, a Canadian officer politely told my brother in law he had to return the coral he had to the store in Buffalo and allowed him to do so.
I've had a handful of negative experiences by a handful of angry customs people, and have witnessed some pretty stupid behaviour directed at other people that has made me keep my butt on this side of the border as much as possible!

I cross every day. So I know what you are talking about. I see the stripped cars every day on both sides. It isn't worth it to me either way.

if there is something in particular that you are looking for why don't you contact a wholesaler to see if they can bring it in...I would hate to see you loss your money and something living being tossed in the garbage...

Nope heath, just if I like something I saw I would grab it...but doesn't seem like that's happening

A lot f my stuff has come from the USA. My first tank came from big als in London. My first order of rock for that tank came from Florida. 450 dollars worth. We had no saltwater store in Sarnia back a few yrs. so I stocked that tank from oceans and seas and Kees pets. Which are a half hour drive from Sarnia we go over every weekend to pick up mail and grocerys Neo will vouch for when I am at a store over there as I text him to see if he wants anything. I got the emerald crabs for him at Kees pets everything in my tank is from Kees pets and all snails and urchins ..never had anything taking ..I just tell them what I have and how much. ...I was at Kees 2 weekends ago got frozen food and salt
Corals are a no no though... if you got through with them once, you are the exception and should count yourself lucky.
