brown algae?

So yesterday I went to put my lights on and I noticed what I think might be brown algae, its on the top of my power heads and some on the top of my rocks. Would it be from lighting since its only on the top of everything annd not anywhere else? And how do I get rid of it!

I'm at a year now and had it on and off because of a cycle(all gone now).  Snail will eat the Algee too :).  Just double check your source of water and if it gets bad you can run gfo

I'm waiting on the brs order toget a reactor and gfo n carbon. And I only have ro water so I was thoinking on adding di to it as well.
