Calcium Test

Just wondering what brand of calcium test everyone uses. I'm getting two different results with 2 different test... with the API test I'm getting 450 and with the Salifert test I'm getting 380...I've done multiple with both test and their results are consistent. These test are not rocket science and I know what I'm doing so what dose everyone else use?

Redsea kits for everything myself. I would never use API or suggest it's use on testing a reef tanks parameters. Maybe someone local can come over and test with their kit.

I'm a Salifert user. Have used Elos before and compared results and the two seem to be right in line with each other.

I'm with Torx, I would never use API test kits for reef. I'm sure they're fine for FOWLER though.

Salifert test have work good for me

Salifert here as well... check each test's source of error, they are not exact, but should get you pretty darn close.

Red Sea and just grabbed a Hannah checker but haven't used it yet
