I'm nOt to sure I know much about wats per Gallon , i like par because I tested my light and know what it is from bottom med and high, where would zoas be consided in par ? And also hammer corals or if someone has a link to a chart some sort that'd be awesome !

I put all new frags on bottom in a completely shaded are with moderate flow.. I watch them everyday and they will open up and when they're doing good I wait for them to start closing and that's my que to put them in full light still on bottom.. they should open up again within hours.. and I wait another 1-2 weeks before I start moving them up closer to light.. but everything needs to be in check like good water parameters, good flow, the maturity of your tank.. this is just my method, there's lots of other opinions on how to do it. My ricordia mushroom has been in a shady spot for 4 weeks and it's almost time to put him in light.. I can never grow acro and I bought 1 and I put it in full light middle of tank and it's polyps are always out and it's started branching with new growth.. some things are hit and miss and every tank system is unique..
