Can Zoas Sting?

Noticed a boo-boo on my scopas tang today. Doubt it was bit by another fish, and doesn't look like a rock scrape. Is it possible it was stung by a zoa? Never heard of zoas actually stinging, but...

Not my fish (obviously), but wound looks kinda similar.

I believe that some do sting each other.. if bob fenner says it, it must be true!
