Candy Cane Tenticles

Got to love suprises with new corals. I purchased  a hammer and a candy cane from Sealife Central last weekend. Today was the first time I was home when the lights turned on. To my suprise, the candy cane had tenticles swaying in the current. Slowly they retracted over the next hour. I know it is great to have everything told to you at a store, but some suprises are worth not knowing.

Oh, and both new corals are strong and healthy. The Fire Angel, Blood Shrimp and Orange Star Fish that I picked up fromThe Box of Water are doing well to. Great shopping day.

LoL, that is probably where i got it from. Wife and mother-in-law were talking about it earlier.

I will have to get a good picture of the tenticles tomorrow morning and add it to the POTM thread.

Think I will have to get a few different candy cane frags just for the color difference. Estwing2 has a nice one, much like yours Blob-79. Time to save up again, maybe go shopping again the end of June

ya I dont know what they are actually called..so many stupid names out there lol. I like to call it kryptonite candycane
they literally glow in the dark.

plus I have some protection if superman ever turns bad
