I've personally had some pretty good luck using this. I don't do a full dose though. Usually do about 1/4 strength and do a couple days without feeding and a couple 10% water changes. Didnt hurt my guys but I stick to fairly hardy fish

I also used microbacter 7 and I can say this helped as well never seen canyo again

So its been about two weeks since ive used it and ive added a couple fish back in which are doing well but my skimmer is still going crazy and i cant even turn it on as it just goes BANANAS! Ive done 6 ten percent water changes and i still cant run it...any tips or should i just do a 50% change or something like that?

My skimmer didn't return to normal for several weeks after I dosed, and I changed a ton of water during that time. 100 gallon system and I did at least one 50 percent change and several 20 gallon changes, something like a 20 gallon change every 4 days if I remember..
