Chinese LED - replacement driver?

Looking for help to find a replacement driver for my LED. All the blues run on one string and only one LED lights up completely, the rest flicker and go on and off, never more the maybe 25% power. When I hooked up the white string of LED's, the lights power up to 100% then flick out, almost like a slow strobe light. I have tried a bunch of places online and no one is replying back as I did not buy it from them. Any help would be appreciated.

use the drivers from your old leds. if you need some of them I think I have some new and some old ones.

I think you will find out that it is a bulb and not the driver I had some do the same thing.

I hope that is not the case as these are all on a board and not replaceable that I know of.

If you ID a bad bulb, could you just pull it and solder a wire in to by-pass it?  In any case, good luck - I hope that mine keeps working on my frag tank.

Nice idea, will have to see if I can find an extra led upstairs, but only have 10 hours off from getting off work to going to work today, so will check it out tomorrow.  :-\

There is also a resistor of sorts wired into all these LED's, maybe bypassing that will work as it seems that they are 'bursting' with power or the resister is not holding a charge anymore.

I had this last week.  One bulb took out the whole string.  Most lights super dimmed, a couple out, driver was fine.  In fact, I haven't had a single driver go out in almost 2 years now. 

Is there a way to DIY at all on that setup?  What I mean is, on mine I can use the little battery thingy they supplied, and fire each bulb manually until I find the dead one.  If you can do that, you can solder over it (take it out of the string) and possibly salvage the fixture.  If not, you have a huge papwerweight. At the very least can you get a multimeter and test the output of the drivers??  At least that would tell you if it is indeed the driver (I just doubt it, but you never know).

Yea, looks very similar if not the same. I havent noticed any problems with mine yet, but it may be that I run it fairly high off tank so doesnt get any moisture buildup.

Daleomilla advice backed by Salty Cracker was correct. Bad bulb, just soldered a jumper wire around it and good to go.

if you have any leds left from aquastyle you could could just remove one from the star and replace the bad one instead of just jumpering it. the solder points look fairly big so it should be really easy to do.

Possibly, I do not see why not, will most likely be more work then it is worth though as these are smaller then the diy ones, so it will not just be a quick and easy resolder.
