I've been looking at the Malibus for my next light. I would compare the total price (including Fedex shipping cost) to bulb ratio and I found Malibu comes out even with EverglowD120. and you get the remote and programmability as a bonus. AND customizable. I would do that comparison and decide.

If you're thinking of SPS with LEDs I'd double down on the recommended number of lamps (unless you're going to go with deep water only).

living aquariums in cambridge has the smaller unit running a frag tank and one setup for a plant grow light seem to give good colour and is doing better than the ecotek he had (sorry for those who like ecotek im an ai guy)
