How does everyone clean their overflow pipes? I think I'm getting some buildup in my primary and it's restricting some flow.

I use a baby bottle brush for cleaning tight spots, they can be picked up at any dollar store and when they rust throw away and buy a new one...

Try adapting a gun cleaning kit, or make your own.
Take a long string (solid), tie one end around a scrubby pad, tie the other end around a small weight, fish the weight through the pipe, and pull scrubby through. There should be some resistance, but should pull through with minimal effort. Repeat if necessary.

Dollar store baby bottle brushes and dollar store drain cleaner wire, should have a brush on the end as well. Both those work well here.
