Apex:

Remote control and viewing...

Is/was done by setting up router to allow the connection from outside world to connect to apex IP address.

This was tricky for some as you have to have some basic "IT/computer knowledge"

Apex now has an option for you to use there "cloud" based service where you are not connecting to your network, you are actually connecting to apex cloud which is this communicating with your apex. (No nonsense needed with router)

DON'T GET THE REEFKEEPER, unless you like to fiddle, become frustrated, get ZERO customer support, and drool over all the fancy Options the Apex people have. If that sounds like you the ReefKeeper is the way to go.

Can you Guess What I have?

My Reef Keeper Controls my Pumps (Circulation and Return) Controls my skimmer (Puts it in a Delay startup mode after I enter Feed Mode Or maintenance Mode) Has Feed Mode, Maintenance mode, controls my heaters, and Fan.

NONE OF WHICH WAS EASY TO SET UP

Big reefer your welcome to come by my place to see it all working on apex. I control my pumps, lights at, skimmer, I have 3 ip cameras setup I view through fusion, main pump, doser...etc etc.

And aside from some initial setup issues getting my foscam cameras setup it was a breeze.

Oh I've also got it set up to do things like email me when there is a power outage, or turn the lights off if the temperature goes over 79, turn heaters on and off for the same reason....all really simple to do

No its not, the conductivity probe is useless and you prob won't ever use orp. Lab grade ph would be good but reg grade is ok to.
