I hooked up my apex and lately for some reason I can't connect to it through the ap on my phone. I have tried restarting the controller and still nothing. I have verified all the info and they match. Can some one help me pls

Are you at home with your Apex wired to your router and phone on the wireless internet at home?

Or

Is the Apex wired to your router and you are trying to access it from outside your home network?

Lastly, is your Apex set up with Fusion? If so, does that work?

Once fusion is setup you shouldn't need to worry about using the app, at least that is my experience.

I use Fusion 99% of the time at home. There are some cases where I find it easier via the webpage at home though. But if fusion is not set up, then he will need to access the webpage to set it up.

Yes i am at home and I have it set up with fusion. I haven't tried my computer. I use it like jerry. Ap on phone and fusion on computer. The controller is wired to the router and I am trying to connect through the ap just to turn off outlets.

Happens to me all the time. Try resetting your router

So Fusion is OK but the old Apex app isn't? Weird. I will have to reinstall the app to check things out. I use Fusion on my phone.

Just go to the website and login. From there save/bookmark or do like me and put a shortcut on your home screen so it is just like clicking an app

IPhone...well there is your first mistake lol.

But you can add one to your screen. Wait till the pages loads completely, then tap the menu, then add to home screen.

1 - Tap the bookmark icon

For iPhone? Depends what OS you are on. Different OS has different Internet settings. If my first post doesn't work to add a home page icon, try the second route.

No sorry. I tried using my phone and it said my apex firmware is not current. I am using my new laptop. I have re extracted the upgrade file for update. But now I can't get to up date. It either tells me there is an arp error so I tried a different ip adress and now it tells me the start index can't be less then zero. My ip is 192.168.2.50. What does it mean?

Ok it says it is up dated and I have run a self test and it says it's good. Now it still will not connect. To phone or computer. It tells me I still need to update it.
