So I've had a baby copper band for over a month now I will admit a rough 6 days before he ate but for a soild 4 weeks he's been eating mysis a lot , so I though all is well, hooked up the new jebao wr8 its been on wave 1 speed 3 and lower pulse , everything in nthe tank is fine just did a nice water change and always skimming , top off every day etc . He's hasn't been him self at all today , he looks fine maybe on the skinner side . Im on. A brand new pack of mysis and they look bigger then the last pack (same brand) and he really struggles to eat it so I much have to cut the frozen block up more I guess idk.. I doubt he will eat today judging how he's staring at the wall and mouth open. Again nothing seems around his gills and all my other fish are fine , I am very new to cbb and don't know muc other they are picky eaters and size of tank . And not to mention he's a very relaxed fish ( he was added last)

What are your water parameters?

So you got the powerheads already? I told you they were fast. Mine are to be delivered tomorrow.
I should have gotten the smaller ones :( too much flow

He been acting different since the powerhead change ?
Maybe he isn't adjusted to the new flow.

Damn :( what if you use it on wave mode 1? And just ashuts speed ? I seen you had no sand on the bottom , that would be better so it won't blow around

Can try target feeding with a turkey baster. Mine will come to the same spot each feeding and will pick mysis from the end of the baster. Running Gyre 150 and MP40 both in feed mode. It is a pretty chilled fish.
Just put baster in no food and here he comes. Kinda kewl

Had mine about 2 months.
Saw it eat at the store before buying.
Since it went in my tank just grazes.
Seems to be getting enough food so far as it has fattened up in the 2 months.
I tried target feeding with pumps off.
It just swims through the food to the next rock.
Does have plenty of rock work to go through though. It's a heavily stocked rock setup in a 265.
