So I decided to grab a copperband today, a juvenile. Only about 2" big. He's doing great it seems so far. Ate almost right away. Picking away at tiggerpods and rocks. But my yellow tang is not find of his new tank mate... Harassing the h e double hockey sticks lol outta it. Anything I can do to calm it down? Or let nature take it's course....? I don't wanna lose him... By far my most fav fish... I'm feeding frozen bloodworms n brine. Not too fond of either tho is there anything someone who owns one might suggest A healthy diet for it?

lol good luck with corals hope you don't have zoas or lps i already told you what happend when i put one in my 110 killed 300$ worth of corals lol and had to empty 300+ lbs of live rock to get the bastard out this was after everybody said ya there reef safe nooooope good luck buddy

ya the one i got loved acans brains and zoas took chunks out of the brains i love the fish 2 buttt don't listen when people say reef safe there not exspetialy with lps didn't seam to touch sps though.. but i had an aptasia problem and he was my last shot bad idea lfs told me o ya no problems coperbands are completely reef safe get that thing out of your tank i would hate to see you lose all those expensive corals best of luck

wow fishit,that would definitely suck big time,i fed the one i had mysis and algae strips,didn't have it long but ate like a horse got it in a deal including a yellow tang,they were both fine together,id wait it out a week or so,as long as the butterfly ain't gettin beat to bad,they are fairly resilient

No, no damage reported as of yet. It's still early. Using have alot of zoos or anything like thT. He hasn't even begun to eat the aiptasia either. Hes a baby tho so I'm hoping if I get it used to eating frozen and flake it might never decimate corals. Only time will tell. The fish is only about an inch or so big, and spends all his time picking at Copepods and tiggerpods... As long as I keep my population of pods up I think I'll be fine
