Moves nice amount of water, reasonably easy to control. Mine had a bit of noise to it when i first got it but it seems to have quieted down over time.

Is it a noticeably wider flow? Can it be turned right down? I’ve got a QP-9 on a 4ft tank, and it’s too much even on its lowest setting.

Yeah i found similar issues with my glamorca gyre, it said it dialed down but I found on my 3 ft frag tank it moved quite a bit of water, this one seems to dial down pretty low, admittedly I have it on a temporary tank right now so im not using any of the wavemaking functions right now. The Flow just roughly from putting my hand in the water seemed about to be a 6-8" round stream, you will also get quite a bit of flow from entrainment. Its currently on a 55G 48x12x20 (i think...) and not 1 drop of sediment has settled on the bottom with barebottom so i feel like its getting good water cycle through the tank.

As long as the pump has longevity and the sound of the pump isnt a major issue they are having then i would recommend this to anyone looking to cut some costs.
