Salt at 1.23 is insanely high. I am assuming you mean 1.023. That should not affect them like that. If all your levels are good, and there have not been any other changes, maybe someone is picking at them when no one is looking

Yea I would keep an eye out.
I recently had the same issue, turned out to be my foxface, I moved him to the sump and the next day things started looking better already.

1.023 is a little low tho for a reef IMHO. When my levels were that low my corals werent to happy. Whethere or not thatll cause tissue loss, im not sure. Definately sounds like somethings picking at it and sttressing it out more.

Could be fish, or maybe water parameters - what are your parameters at? What types of fish do you have? In my experience, fish seem to pick on one thing at a time, not a bunch of different corals all at the same time. But every fish is different.

Yes, I would be more than comfortable with reefkeeper420's reply.

I have my SG@1.026 now and been there for some weeks and my SPS are doing well. The only one complaining is my Pink Flowerpot.

Heck, the Kryptonite CandyCane I thought left the building is now doing an Elvis impersonation.
