Corals shocked after big water change?

Hi Folks,

7 days ago, I did a 50% water change in my 55 gallon. Salinity & temp were identical in new and old water. 7 days later, I still have a bunch of corals (LPS & zoas) that aren't opening. My frogspawn looks like it may not make it. I read up on it beforehand and it seems like most people say that large water changes are ok - as long as salinity & temp are the same. Ideas?

What was going on that made you decide to do the 50% change?

sure thing,ph change,cal,alk,phos,these could all have changed drastically,you didnt post any perimeters before and after the change
