I'll have a look for them... I've got snails of different sorts blue legged hermits and a peppermint shrimp... could be it came off cause there is nothing on the plug

Shortly after I got my peppermints I had a frogspawn disappear overnight and found them munching away on a torch. I was about to get rid of them and even had one in a separate container. I found many other reports of people saying their peppermint shrimp had eaten some of their corals but many others that said they they had no issues with the peppermints. I tried saving the torch in a basket but realized that it had brown jelly disease. Then I remembered that the frogspawn had taken a tumble several days before and may have gotten damaged.

I came to the conclusion that the peppermints won't GENERALLY go after healthy corals. But if the corals are sick they may make a snack out of them. I now make an effort to ensure that my peppermints are fed regularly and I haven't had any other issues. I have noticed them a couple times around a new corals that don't seem to be doing well in my tank. Now I have a smaller tank that I start most frags in and then move them to the larger tank when they are growing just in case.

I'm not saying that it was your peppermints but that's the same thing that happened to my frogspawn. After I found the torch with the brown jelly disease I figured the frogspawn probably had it as well. So keep an eye on the peppermints as you never know man.

My peppermint has not touched anything so far but there is no sign of the zoa on the plug at all... I think the glue let go... like mentioned above . I'll be doing a search when I get home later tonight...
