some pond places have the black flexible stuff which might work too

Hey teebone, I've been contemplating ordering off of them for some time. They have a great selection but I would imagine shipping would be a little pricey. Have you used them? Anything to say about their products?

Thanks Teebone, but I've found a place here in Newmarket that carries 1" spa flex. $1.00/ft :)

Here's the contact

You're welcome :D

So the last few days have been pretty productive.

My wife was nice enough to help me prime and paint the walls last night.

I ended up staying up late to finish all of the wiring. Finally have useable outlets
and they are protected!

This morning I was able to take the wife and kids to the farmers market for some breakfast. I picked up some 5" baseboards on my way home and I got to work.

Today I finished all of my baseboard and window trim. Build my sump stand and my work bench.

I also have most of my plumbing fittings. Just waiting for my spa flex to come in. I found it locally for 1.00/ft. I sure hope I got all of the right stuff.

This darn fish room is way over budget lol.

Here are the pics, enjoy.

Have never used them, but I see Dan found some locally for a steal at $1, considering I was at Lowes today and they were asking 4X that.

Sorry guys, got charged $2.30 when I went to go pick it up. I chick that quoted me was obviously wrong. Too good to be true, but $2.30 is still not bad.

Grabbed mine for $2.69/ft so yup that was a good deal. Also curious to know deeznutz if you saw any decent sched 40 gate valves on your plumbing hunt that didn't look and feel like garbage (I seem to only be able to find the latter).

Sorry I have not seen any gate valves in my hunt. I'm sticking to ball valves. A bit harder to dial in, but also 1/4 the price.
Also a sch 40 valve is not going to feel as sturdy as a sch 80. Just grab a 80 and pay the premium :p

Fish room looks fantastic - will be a great spot to do your maintenance and fragging, and for killing a few beers :)

I also had a chance to go pickup my new sump. Here she is sitting pretty. I have the sump pushed up into the corner. I'm wonder if I should move it more towards the middle. Any thoughts on this?
I gotta order some a few glass baffles. Will 1/4 glass be ok, or should I go with 3/8"? What kind of silicone do people use?

On to the pics!
