You can go to cherry corals and pick up what you order  or do there once monthly tours  there outside Detroit .they moved to a new place

Cool  8)

You can also go to Incredible Aquarium and pick up what you order...or do their weekly tours. They're also located outside of Detroit and because they are in Canada.... you won't have to move to a new place if you get caught smuggling coral across the border.  ;D

Finally, get my new skimmer today!!! WOO HOO!!! The Vertex Alpha Cone 200 is STILL back ordered. Thankfully, Bill from IA was able to work out a solid deal for a BK Super Marin 200 Internal skimmer. I'm excited to get this bad boy online! Thanks Bill! Much appreciated.

I will update some pics of my tank. A LOT has changed over the past few months. I am nearly fully stocked on livestock and now it is just a waiting game to get my frags and corals to start filling in.

Livestock is as follows: 1 Snowflake Clown, 1 Blacker Ice Clown, 1 Hippo Tang, 1 Purple Tang, 1 Majestic Angel, 1 CB Butterfly (Who has cleared away any little aiptasia that was moved over from my other tank!!  ;D Thanks BILL!!!  ;) ) 1 Powder Brown Tang, 1 Black Spot Foxface, 2 Leopard Wrasses, 1 Harlequin Tuskfish. Might add a couple more fish when the time comes... A nice Flame Angel or something along those lines... All fish seem to be getting along quite well so far!! I was very careful as to which fish to put in at what time. Shy ones first to most aggresive last.

I have a mixed bag of SPS and LPS. Hopefully, I can keep everything happy. It will certainly be a challenge to keep the system super clean for the SPS, while still having enough nutrients for all the LPS.

Perameters are all good right now. I still need to test my MAG tonight though. Calcium is 420, ALK 8, Nitrates 0, Phosphates 0.

The bio-pellets seem to be working very well as my system is still young and there was not a pile of live rock used in my aquascaping. I have a BRS dual reactor but have decided to hold off running it for now. I will keep it attached to the system in case I ever need to run some carbon for a while or if my phoshates spike for whatever reason.

Big purchases are done. Equipment is finally done. Only future plan may be to start a frag tank using my DSB tank at some point. But for now, my corals just need to grow.

I will check it out a little closer. I just picked them up on Saturday and they have been hiding in the sand bed for most of the time. They do come out here and there but hopefully, they show themselves completely soon. They should be hungry now and come out of hiding.

Some pics as promised. I took a pile but will only post a few for now until I filter through them all. FTS, pic of fish room, my new BK sikimmer at work and my pair of designer clowns for now.

Woot, there it is!

Nice clowns, where did you find those?

Thanks for the compliments everyone! I got the Snowflake from Aquariums by Design. The Black (or Blacker??) Ice, I got from Big Al's for a steal! They had them on sale a few weeks back for $60 / each. I'm surprised they didn't sell out that weekend.

Also where did you get that Brute storage bin?
I need a new one. Have you tested it for phosphates?

I ordered the Brute containers online at U-Line. A little pricey, but they ship next day and you can select the colours. What size container are you looking for? I have 1 - 20G and 1 - 35G. I was going to keep one of them just to have on hand but willing to part with whichever one you would want. The 20G I used solely to mix SW for my old tank and the 35G was solely used as a RO resevoir. I never did test for phospahtes, however, I never had any real algae issues so I wouldn't imagine it was leaching anything really...

Thanks again everyone. It has been a long, painful process getting it this far! Now, the real fun begins trying to keep everything healthy! I stocked the tank in a fairly aggresive amount of time. All seems well though and I have been watching all my perameters closely and have had no issues so far.

My only casualty has been my pink Milli colony. Not sure what happened but it STN'd on me... I managed to cut a frag before it died off completely but even that is just clinging on. I really don't know what caused it but everthing else is doing just fine. I am still trying to find how much flow is too much for this coral, not enough or too much light for that coral, etc. etc. My finicky SPS seem to be thriving so far which is all ways nice to see considering the price tag on them.
