So i'm prettt sure i know the answer to this question but can whole rocks be dipped aswell before i start hacking everything off rocks.. i'm using bayers. If bayers cant be used is there a better option for dipping whole rocks?
Thanks

I wouldn't do it with Bayer personally.

Bayer needs to be rinsed, rinsed, rinsed and rinsed.

If anyone ever has a problem with using Bayer as a dip it is most likely because after the dip they didn't rinse well enough and put back into tank.

I always setup had either 4 cups for frags or 4 buckets for colonies.

1 bowl with Bayer and tank water mix, other 3 with tank water only.

Dip, rinse rinse rinse. I would do a couple coral , then fill 3 rinse bowls with new tank water.

I agree with Jerry... Large rocks are too porous to ever get all of the dip out and they are not in tank treatments for a reason. Small solid bases are not so bad but anything really porous would be.

However AEFW don't go far from the coral to lay eggs so you don't really have to worry about the entire rock and the dip doesn't kill eggs anyway...
