watchng the Westminster Dog show and a CANADIAN dog took the group, way to go Will..and Ms |P

[Marz]

Which breed?

[heath]

beagle. this is her last show, she is retiring.. not a golden but they are on tomorrow nite and if he wins you will hear me shouting from Woodstock. the sire of one of my girls is showing..

[heath]

Ya Canada, a standard poodle from Toronto won the non-sporting group.. there were 3 dogs in the group from Canada..

[Marz]

This is actually good news for Canadian breeders. I am of course partial to Giant Schnauzers

[heath]

yes it is, we have some wonderful dogs in Canada, there is a good showing this year..Giant Schnauzers are very regal dogs.. I am a sporting dog breeder.

[Marz]

Regal yes, cement heads, some of the time, but wonderful with my family

Sporting dog breeder - I wish I had the patience.

[heath]

it is a labor of love..but I wouldn't have it any other way..

[saltyair]

Did you say a standard poodle - my Pandora will have to watch and cheer.
(Don't like the way they cut the coat)
I don't understand why a standard poodle is in non-sporting. They are amazing retrievers, hunters and companion dogs.
Looks like I have some calls to make lol

[heath]

I hear what your saying, they are awesome retrievers. In Canada they are not included in the sporting/gun dog group.. the show is on again tonite at 8pm on Animal Planet, its the rest of the groups and BEST IN SHOW, we all need to cheer for our wonderful Canadian dogs..

My dog would win cutest dog in the show:

[heath]

yes she would, hands down..
well I'm not doing a lot of cheering tonite, my goldens didn't even make the cut and there were no Canadian dogs in the group, sucks..

[Marz]

Geeze...not a good showing obviously

[heath]

you came closer than I did, the giant schnauzer made the cut,,, a BEAUTIFUL black..

[Marz]

Nice! I should have recorded it.

[Marz]

I have a "handsome" black except for when the kids paint his nails...

[heath]

I'm sure he looks stunning with his nails done, well groomed..

[heath]

you can always look up the Westminster kennel club.. ii is the most prestige dog show in the world, by invitation only..

[heath]

woohooo !!!!! BEST IN SHOW is a CANADIAN dog. The 15' beagle won it.. the handler is from Milton..
